Pixel Petunia Answers Your Questions
Q. Why do I have to sign up to Lulu to buy your items?
A. All our products and payment processing is handled by Lulu. That means you have the ability to get instant downloads upon
purchasing your items! You don't have to wait for me to check your purchase and send you the appropriate download links had I used
another service like Paypal.
Q. I'd like to buy using Paypal, may I do so?
A. Yes you can! Contact me at
and I'll get back to you withing 48 hours unless otherwise noted at this
site or the Pixel Petunia blog.
Q. How long will it take to receive my purchase(s)?
A. Instantaneously! Once we receive payment, an email will be sent to you with links to download your purchases.
Q. Why are these TPNG and SPNG files included with the regular PNGs and PSDs?
A. Those are files used in the paper doll program called ALICE. Just drag and drop those
files into ALICE and easily create new characters with them! What's even better, ALICE is cross-platform friendly and may be used
in Windows, Mac and Linux OS's. GTK+ 2.6
or higher must be installed before installing ALICE.
Q. How can I align the images all into one PSD?
A. In each PSD file, you will notice a grid layer. Turn the grid layer on so it shows on screen. Now select the layer you want to move
into a master PSD file and drag and drop it to the new location. This master PSD file should also have a grid layer as well. Turn that
on and move the newly dragged layer to match the original source. Compare and move until it matches the original perfectly.
Q. Are your products really royalty-free?
A. Yes they are! As a consumer, I like it when things aren't complicated and that same sentiment extends to when I'm providing
products and services. You can use these assets for as many games as you want for as long as you want just as long as
you don't violate the license agreement.
Q. When will you have your next sale/freebie?
To get an advanced notice of our sales, please sign up to our newsletter. For freebies and previews, make sure you subscribe to our
blog's RSS feed at http://pixelpetunia.wordpress.com/feed/.
Q. I'm not an indie developer yet or don't plan to be one, can I still buy your stuff?
Yes you can! All items can be used for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Non-commercial uses include prototyping, student
projects, or even games released for free. Please note that our products cannot be released in a non-compiled format and must be
reasonably obfuscated. And should you change your mind about releasing commercial games, our assets can easily work for you!
